Ansley turns 10

Not only was Monday the first day of school but it was Ansley's 10th birthday! She was beyond excited! We went to her 10 yr check up last week. She is in 34th percentile for weight and 65th for Height.
There is so much to say about Ansley. She is so kind hearted and beautiful. She loves her brothers and wishes we would have more kids or in her words a sister. She is the first to "oooo and ahh" over a baby or puppy. The girl owns more dolls than I can count and don't even get me started on the amount of figurines she has.
For her birthday this year she got a pink room!

Friendsgiving!!

This year we added to our thankful week by having some friends over to celebrate what we are so thankful for! The kids had a blast and so did the adults.

These pictures will always be known as the lice pictures. Caroline was in the heat of mini session season for Christmas pictures so I decided how cute would it be to get these hats while shopping at Ace. That night I found lice in James's hair. Same night I threw away these cute hats and shaved the boys heads. Did I mention this was the night before Thanksgiving and the next morning we had Bobs extended family coming over. Did I also mention that James sleeps with a million blankets. That was fun. Never done so many loads of blankets and sanitized every surface so well. Good news is after treating it that night and shaving his head we didn't see any live bugs after that. Just itching thinking about this! 

TCU homecoming

Caroline and I decided it was finally time to go back and enjoy a weekend of TCU football and friends. Even though the campus has changed drastically for the good it was still our old stomping grounds. We had beautiful weather and it was fun catching up with roommates and friends.

Stitches again

Yes our poor James was riding his bike with a neighbor and lost control! I am so thankful that all my nagging about wearing a helmet paid off because this could have ended so badly!! Luckily his chin took the fall this time. Pretty much the same spot he got on the diving board a year ago. After 10 stitches he was good to go. We love children's hospital and the same surgeon we saw a year ago!

Colonial day at school

4th grade Colonial day! The girls are wearing dresses that my Aunt made my cousins which Caroline and I wore when we were the girls age. Ansley made sure to announce at the bus stop that I wore it back in the Colonial days!

Flag football

Ansley played flag football last fall. She and a couple other girlfriends from church joined a team with some other boys. Not to brag but our team rocked and was the only one with girls on it.
